Ganesh Blessings

A private commission mural on a garage door at a residence in Boulder, CO., this is a depiction of Ganesh, a Hindu god widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honoured at the start of rites and ceremonies. He always travels with a little mouse.

What you don’t see in the photo are hand written Hindu Blessings of love, inscribed on the edges of the folding doors as they open up to enter the garage.
